Not that I can speak for them, but it's likely that the artists and writers are just keeping potential content up for show while the programmers work on the bugs. That being said, they did say a new version with fixed bugs etc. would be up soon and yet this popped up first so, yeah what's up with that? I'd say the bugs are taking time, and that's fair, but some of them seem like they are pretty fundamental to solve before putting out any demo.
