2024-08-27 05:59:46 +0000 UTCyes, it stands for Polyurethane and my guess is that other manufacturers just called it PVC. We checked the "PVC" fabric from others and weren't really able to spot a difference. So I reckon they simply gave the child a different name. But I'm not 100% sure about that. Ours it coated with Polyurethane tho, that's for sure.

2024-08-27 05:28:17 +0000 UTCI thought it's PU (Polyurethane) and not PVC? Or what does the PU stand for in your case? Not that it matters much in terms of elasticity they're of course both a far cry from lycra/spandex/nylon or even latex.

2024-08-27 04:35:44 +0000 UTCRei's the best! Suit looks similar to stretch-vinyl suits i've worn, which are wonderfully shiny but less flexible and not breathable. I've found wearing a regular satin suit underneath helps with putting it on/taking it off and general comfort, but obviously gets rather warm quickly. :-)
