I loved getting that glimpse into how strong Frieren really is and how much we still dont know about her. I loved their use of colours to make the effects pop and to stand out against the earth-tones of the labyrinth

The more i look back on these eps, the more i realize how strong Methode really is and has been super handy in healing others too! I didn't put two and two together because it felt like Frieren's replica battle took very little time to conclude, but she was able to hold off Fern for that entire time! I loved how she gave off strong leader vibes tooo

2024-12-08 23:06:51 +0000 UTCIn episode 27 when Serie walks out of the hall and says, "In the end, that boy never saw the fluctuations in my mana either" she's referring to Lenen (old guy she was speaking bluntly too) the first 1st Class Mage ever and her student. However that is also a hint to the viewer that Serie is also suppressing her mana, despite it being as large as Frieren's mana unleashed, and therefore she is ridiculously powerful. It is also why she smiles when Fern tells her that she is seeing her mana fluctuate because that demonstrates to Serie how powerful Fern can become. P.S. The Feriern clone battle was so good. Only wish there was more of it. That being said, Feriern is scary powerful even though she probably isn't on the level of Serie.

2024-12-08 21:51:17 +0000 UTCMethode is one of my favorites from this mini arc. She has an insane range of spells, was pivotal for healing the other mages and finding all the replicas. But she also managed to hold off Fern's replica long enough for Frieren and Fern to finish off Friere's replica which alone means she is pretty well skilled in combat as well.
