I guess you could see it as creepy when he says his job is to see that her needs are fulfilled, but only if you're just reading the subtitles. His voice sounded sincere to me but I'll keep a close eye in the final episodes as you may be right. It's a difficult line to walk, being aware and cautious of danger whilst trying not to be too cynical and shutting everyone out of your life on the offchance they might be bad people. I used to naturally err on the side of trusting people, but so do the victims of serial killers so, you just have to be wrong once and it's all over! I had an accident and have brain damage as a result. I have a lot of different problems stemming from that accident but what's relevant here is that I became scared and paranoid about everyone and only saw the bad in everything; the complete opposite of the person I was before the accident. My personality did a complete 180 overnight and I woke up a different person from the one who fell asleep the previous night. I shut everyone out and never left my home for years. That's no way to live. So I started participating a little in comments sections and putting myself back out there in the safest way I could. I'm still the type to think the worst even if I try not to, but Taiki's dad seems like a good dude to me. I've been wrong before, though. Sometimes I ramble uncontrollably in a comment section LOL. Please don't hold it against me.
