Unfortunately yeah, she’s too innocent and pure to even consider deviating from the dress code… to me she actually looks somewhat popular so I’m shocked she gets bullied as much as she does and her personality alone should never justify doing it. We’ve only seen the small group bully her so I hope it doesn’t extend beyond that group From me to you has 2 seasons but is getting a third! It’s an older anime but it’s just very pure at heart from the 8 or so eps I watched at the time.

I know what you mean about stories with bullying not being fun to watch. I was bullied at school because I'm disabled and I do sometimes get triggered - I had to quit watching My Hero Academia because of that Bakago kid. He's just a bully. Watching it with a reactor and seeing all the morons in the chat laughing about some awful thing Bakugo said to a kid he was bullying just makes it ten times worse. There are always bullies and there are always idiots who stand around and laugh at the bullying while it happens and never speak against it or raise a finger to help. At least in this anime there are some people who want to help, though I'm a little unsure of the way they are going about it, so I am, let's say, cautiously optimistic. I've never seen "From Me to You" so I don't know about that. Maybe I'll check it out if you think it's worth a look. Is it?

2025-01-18 00:50:01 +0000 UTCThis MC and first ep reminded me a lot of the anime 'From Me To You' - Even down to her personality and facial expressions and the act of one guy noticing her and paying her attention. While the context is different, they're both set in high school and wonder if it took any inspo from that anime. With this one though, I have a feeling there will be some good character and friendship development. Anything that involves bullying is never fun to watch, but it allows you to sympathize with the character better and feel relatable. As for her uniform, I noticed that as well. She keeps to the dress code, and doesn't do anything to stick out or rebel. As shown, she would rather retreat than stand out. Though, I feel she's got that fire in her to get past these barriers.

I like the art style and there are some nice details in the character design, like the mc being the only girl wearing a knee-length skirt, that I find interesting. It's difficult to have characters stand out or to show personality through clothing choices when everyone is in uniform so I like little touches like that. It says more to me than the usual wild hairstyles or sweater tied around the waist that animators usually opt for. I said it in your poll but I might as well say it here, since you asked. I'd like to see this on Patreon if you're going to watch it. I don't use Twitch, though I have dropped in to give you my Prime sub. Not sure if that actually does anything for you but you can have it anyway lol. Can't you do both, like you did here? I don't know how much extra work that entails but I would definitely like to watch something like this with you.
