2025-02-01 16:44:43 +0000 UTCI don’t think the concubine is giggling, I think she’s in thought. There is a map next to the emperor’s head. I am curious about the tone of the ending. It feels very “something wicked this way comes.” My favorite part of this episode is how it passively explores how much our perspective can change our view of an event. This envoy was like oh it’s magical and she was amazing, and granny is like it was buggy and a bother and I was there because I’m tall. It’s an interesting concept to explore without stopping to focus on it.
