I enjoyed this episode, but I do think the medicine reveal was awkward. If Maomao’s making medicine is a big deal it feels like that should’ve come up much sooner. Not a huge deal, but the show generally does a really good job of establishing things before they become relevant so it doesn’t have that made up as we go feeling. Like the fact that they established Shisui’s interest in bugs several episodes back. You always notice the little mistakes more when they generally do great with setting up the narrative.
