"You gotta watch him!" said Rey vehemently. Ben internally rolled his eyes.
Lately, their little toddler had begun to show his affinity to the Force, being the son of the two most powerful Force wielders in the galaxy, it was to be expected. But what could such a small child do? Probably nothing Ben couldn't handle. Therefore the mental eyeroll.
"He's fine Rey, you worry too much!" said Ben, feeling that Rey was worrying way too much.
"It's just dinner, what could possibly go wrong during dinner?" Rey pouted and and gave him a menacing look.
"Ok... Well, you know the drill: I've just bathed him, so it's dinner and then bedtime... I left and extra portion just in case it's not enought and-" but Ben interrupted her with a kiss. He parted and looked at her with ease.
"It's all right! Go have fun with Rose, you need it! We'll be fine!" Ben said as he kissed his wife on the forehead. She smiled back and relaxed.
"Yes, you're right. Sorry for being such a worry-wart" she then kissed him and left.
That had been 1 hour earlier and Ben should've listened to Rey.
He had commited the huge mistake of leaving little Grey alone for a second while he went to get his holopad. The scene he had come back to left him speechless and horrified.
Grey was covered all over in red bean paste, and IT. WAS. EVERYWHERE. Things were floating around while thee toddler giggled and smeared more paste everywhere.
His stomach churned, "Rey's going to KILL me" he murmured.
Thank you Aurora for the suggestion!
