SUCHWITA ep.8 Suga with Yeonjun & Taehyun of TxT | Yoongi being the best hyung ๐Ÿ’œ

just two cuties getting drunk with unc yoongi, what could be CUTER?!

i've been dipping my toesies into learning more about TxT for some time now but what drew me to wanting to know more about them the most was their bond with bts. After watching this interview, my perspective has changed a lot and I truly appreciate their hard work and dedication so much more now!

i think being the next boy group after BTS must have meant these men had a crazy amount of pressure put onto them so it was great to hear the conversations they were having with Yoongi and how reassuring he was to them in letting them know that it was their own hard work and talent that got them to where they are today.

UGH i wasn't expecting to like them so much more after watching this HAHA, should i make some room in my heart for TxT or what's the TxTEA?

and now TXT gets to pay it forward because Big Hit just debuted their newest boy group this month called CORTIS. I don't know how long they were hanging around as trainees before debuted but they are actually pretty good.

I saw TXT in London this spring and I originally said I was a casual Soobin bias. But Yeonjun was captivating. He's really good, draws your eyes whereever he is on stage and just a magnetic presence. He really is the legendary trainee.

Trainees are not paid, they are invested in. BigHit pays for their lodging, their food, Iโ€™m guessing an allowance is provided. And for some, BigHit has also offered to pay for school tuition. However, this is a very good deal versus other companies wherein trainees incur debt to the company for the money spent on them during the training period. In all other companies, trainees who are able to debut donโ€™t earn anything until they are able to pay back what they โ€œoweโ€ the company. For most, this could take 2-3 years to pay back. When BigHit became HYBE and started acquiring other labels, they implemented the same rule of no trainee debt in all the companies under them. Any idol from the HYBE umbrella does not have to pay them back for anything spent during their training period. Bang PD insisted that that cost will fall under T&D (training and development) budget.

While TXT were trainees BigHit didn't have any money. BTS was still on the rise. That's why everyone was so broke and they were still in that old training room. Can you imaging being TXT trainees in a company that was basically bankrupt and just putting their all into BTS in order to survive. Must have been scary. I'm not a MOA, but I have thoroughly enjoyed BTS and TXT interactions. They are very chaotic just like our guys.

Agree! Yoongi does such a good job interviewing that not only is it a joy to meet these new to us people, but it also gives us insights into Yoongi.

34:35 - I would LOVE if you watched all the SUCHWITA episodes, not just the ones with people you know or the other members. Yoongi is sooooo good at hosting and we really get to know a lot about him through these episodes. He didn't have a single guest that I did not find very interesting. The conversations he has are just wonderful.
