2022-04-25 06:45:17 +0000 UTCThis is undeniably my favorite of your work: it reminds me of The Last Question, Brave New World, and a host of other phenomenal stories, but it strikes a truly unique tone too. I cracked up at the start of part 3, with Alcea at the branching path. I'm not sure if that was intended as a reference to "The Road Not Taken" (a hilarious joke that practically everyone seems to take seriously), but it put me in mind of it all the same.
