In summary:

– Managed to outline around 6 pages for chapter 15 of the MMO series!

– Managed to draft out some of the next animation!

– Managed to practice drawing anatomy!

MMO Series Update | MMOシリーズの進歩:

As mentioned last week, I’ve split the current ‘outline’ stage of production into 2 parts; outlining and line-shading. The idea was to see if it sped up the process as I felt that doing both at once made production feel sluggish, particularly because I am a perfectionist when it came to getting the shading just right.

I’m happy to say that it has actually felt a lot more productive as I’m able to get more pages done this week! Though not by much as I only managed to complete 6 pages this week, compared to last week’s 4. This was due to the redrawing of certain panels for better visual storytelling. If it weren’t for that, I feel like I could have done maybe 10 pages instead.

Either way, it definitely feels like I’m making more progress with this method, though we’ve yet to see if the line-shading stage after this would take more time than it should.

Anyway, I should be able to start on chapter 16 next week! I’ll see how much more I can get done!

先週お伝えしたように、現在制作中の「アウトライン」の段階を、アウトラインとカケアミの2つのパートに分けました。特にシェーディングを正確に仕上げることにかけては完璧主義者なので、両方を同時にやると制作が滞るように感じていたからです。

今週はより多くのページを仕上げることができたので、より生産的に感じられたのは嬉しい限りです。でも、先週の4ページに対して、今週は6ページしかできませんでした。これは、ストーリー性を高めるために、あるコマを描き直したためです。もしそれがなかったら、10ページくらいはできたような気がする。

いずれにせよ、この方法でより進歩したように感じるのは確かだ。この後のカケアミの段階で、必要以上に時間がかかるかどうかはまだ分からないが。

とにかく、来週には16章に取り掛かれるはずです。あとどれくらいできるかなー。

This week, I’ve managed to draft out most of the next animation!

今週は、なんとか次のアニメの下書きをほとんど書き上げました！

My target is to get this done by the 2nd week of January, so I hope you continue to look forward to the completed animation!

In the latest chapter for the MMO series, there were quite a number of panels which had feet in them. Unfortunately I’m terrible at drawing feet, so I have taken it upon myself to practice more feet this week. Kinky.

MMOシリーズの最新章では、足が描かれているコマが結構ありました。残念ながら私は足を描くのが苦手なので、今週はもっと足を練習することにしました。変態だ。

I am ever grateful for all the opportunities given to me this year, and I hope you know that it was because of the support of the fans (you) that I was even able to receive these opportunities in the first place. Your love for RandoWis has put me on a spotlight big enough to be considered for collaborations and opportunities I never even dreamed of getting, and that has allowed RandoWis to not only move forward, hence giving me a direction and goal to pursue for RandoWis, but to also (once again) support not just myself but my family as well. Thank you.

I do have plans to make more voiced-over content next year, alongside more RandoWis Shorts and other parodies that I have in mind. I also aim to finish all 5 chapters of the MMO series currently in production by early 2023, because I can’t wait for you to read it and hear what you think. I hope you’ll continue to look forward to these, and that you’ll continue to enjoy whatever I make, now and in the future.
