Some of the river tributaries leak down into the cavern under the town. The lake in Ali's forest cavern exits via the channel shown in brown leading out from the bottom of the cliffs at the southern edge of the town. When she broke that open, it turned from a sewer channel into an actual river tributary that flows into the main Myrin River on the east of town.

2024-09-04 14:27:14 +0000 UTCSame - when I'm writing, if I don't sketch out a map or an outline then my imagination generally doesn't scale into the world properly. Once I can visualize it, the scene makes a lot more sense.
