The Castle of In-Between

What if it had a floating castle (In-Between has no real ground level), that merged buildings from different timelines, worlds and even Universes?
As worldbuilding here is still fresh, the rough idea behind this world is that it supports multiverse, - having windows/portals/holes that open within its plane and have acess to different realms. That's how someone can stumble and fall into it in return. And that's when Eleanor is being alerted to their presence and here comes the hunt, adding to the number of denizens living/trapped within the composite castle.
