Commentary
This is the part where Dan laughs maniacally.
Susan is intended to be 1:6 scale in panel one, which would be around 16.67% volume and height (about 10.67 inches tall in this case, or 27 cm).
I think Sarah needs to try that headband look in the main comic sometime. It just works.

My ex-uncle had a pretty strong association with Mario Bros and pasta. I think that was "Mario Bros Italian Restaurant", though, rather than the game, and Mario was their surname. Neither brother had a given name of either Mario or Luigi. Admittedly, they did have a lot of Mario Bros game merchandise around. (If this memory is correct, it was probably back in the 1980s. I spent very little time in that part of the country in the early 1990s, and he became an ex-uncle in the first half of the 1990s if I recall correctly.)
