Added 2016-10-31 17:54:58 +0000 UTCHi there, quite busy IRL here (thesis stuffs) so I decided to stopping accepting commissions for time being, in hope I can squeeze more time to drawing for patreon and working on my thesis m(_ _)m
Here I want to ask you guys, how much drawing did you think I should made in one month for patreon and pixiv?

Yeah, it also depends heavily on the artist. Some make very detailed work or take many commissions and can't afford to make many things for Patreon, while others work exclusively for Patreon as their full time job. Some are very creative and make a lot of things fast with barely plain colour, while others dedicate hours upon hours to create a gloriously shaded and detailed pinup. It also depends a lot on the income they get from Patreon. You're getting a hundred dollars a month more or less, which is probably nowhere near your living expenses, people would understand that you don't make that many things for Patreon and focus on commissions or work. I would also try to think about ways of getting more widely known. Karanthos suggests getting your illustrations behind a paywall, which is okay for some who are already popular, but not helpful at all to attract new people. If you only have 20 Patrons giving away all your illustration versions with just a 1 dollar pledge, upping the costs is not precisely going to make more people come to you. Having a free option in other sites (pixiv, deviantArt, tumblr, etc.) is a must, though if it's the SFW version, the lewd but censored version, or the completely lewd version but lowres is up to you. There is an infinite variety of ways to make it work.

2016-11-01 10:17:01 +0000 UTCthe money you gave/already paid, doesn´t vanish. it´s like ... you got a surplus in your wallet .... if you already paid 5 dollar and you want go up to the 10 dollar tier, you must only pay 5 dollar for the next month. In your case, you send the rewards probably to anyone so you are already good and you can design the tiers anew. just send the reward via inbox to everyone who are in the 1 dollar tier and so on. you can start directly with designing the patreon tiers anew. take your time with that! go and look for patreons you know. ask butter t or Kana or so. Don´t rush it and think about it, what the people should get. Or you must do this all over again a few month later

Access to newsfeet and sometimes a thank you, that´s it. (And use another word for Sketches. That is wrong) And my answer is. 2-3 (depends on how much you can do in one month and I don´t want, that you overwork yourself). With variations for the tiers. (normal/NSFW/another Normal/NSFW variation) 3 Dollar – Normal work 5 Dollar – Normal and NSFW/Naughty 10 Dollar – Normal + NSW/Naughty + some extras you can think of. Or 5 Dollar – Normal 10 Dollar – Normal + NSFW/Naughty 15Dollar – Normal + NSFW/Naughty + Extras you can think of. Everything above are lover tiers. And should be made like that. (With variation I mean the same Picture with some benefits for the tiers you can think of.)

2016-10-31 19:47:03 +0000 UTCOther artists on Patreon normally start with one/two a month and then add more based on milestones as their Patreon income makes them less dependant on commissions and RL work money for survival, so maybe you should think about adding more milestones and reworking the tiers to give a better incentive for people to support you. There are also other artists who publish all of their commissions on Patreon, partly justifying with that the fact they only do one Patreon exclusive pic a month or so.
