DIY stuff?

My first idea for the Crafting room workbench was to add a new menu with new craftable items I'd create (you can, for example, see that small shelf, made by Sim-Sandy herself!).
Is it something you'd like?
If you ever answer "yes", do you have ideas of craftable items you'd like to see ? (please, don't hesitate to post links to pictures in your comments)
My initial idea was:
- useful stuff to decorate home
- wooden stuff
- not too complex stuff: the workbench, as I meshed it, isn't for a professional cabinet maker, I see it more like stuff that everyone, with a saw and a hammer, could make.
Sims 3 players, these items wouldn't be craftable for us, but they still can be nice to use in game (Annie uses the shelf shown above in her bathroom; it's been designed to be paper toilet roll friendly! ;D)

Decor items for sims 3 is great by me. Stuff that looks like it's been made by teenagers just learning to do woodwork would be fun to add to story-telling. Especially if they can give it as gifts!
