Nick I just joined 2 days ago! I'm an acupuncturist. Looking at your complaints, I think you have food retention (now that you are older your Qi cannot digest the food as well as it used to. ) You're feeling cold cause your body is trying to send all its energy to your stomach to digest. So in fact you need to stay warm to help your body digest (even though it feels counter intuitive cause you feel the burning sensation inside.) You should not eat or drink anything cold right now. And I know this will be tough but a bit of exercise (even yoga) will help your Qi get revved up to digest all that food!
