Beta Readers required!!!
Added 2022-11-08 04:54:08 +0000 UTCSo, I updated chapter 25 on Fanfiction, and I got many many complaints that the way I paired Harry and Lily was not the best way to go about it. I, of course, disagree with most of their points and agree with some of their criticisms.
But one point a reviewer made stuck with me.
... That I need a beta reader.
I know we have done this dance already and most of my patrons don't think I need one, but there's no harm in trying it, is there? And English isn't my first language so I do want some people who speak English as their first language, who'd tell my if my sentences sounds weird or not.
So, if anyone of you are offering yourself for the beta role, then contact me.
REQUIREMENTS:
— Must have Discord account where we can chat.
– Must know English fluently, if it's your first language, then great. And if you've some experience in beta-reading, then that's excellent.
– Must be available on Fridays and Saturdays since that's the day I finish writing the first draft of the chapter before posting it on Patreon. Mostly I finish the first draft on Saturday just hours before posting it here, so only apply if you tend to be online most of the times.
WARNING:
Don't apply just because you want to read ahead. That's stupid since you'll most probably read it the same day as the betas. As I have said, most often than not I complete my first draft the same day I post it here. You won't be getting much if you just want to read ahead.
