VERY IMPORTANT!!

Hey what's up ladies and gentleman, so the last few months have really been special from a creator stand point. You have all shown me a lot of love and support and i want to say Thank You.

I want to run something by you all about the YouTube channel and what I was thinking of doing in 2019.

For those that are new to me and the channel Geeked Out Nation has always been kind of a mixture of everything. I put up everything that I love from Geek Culture all on the same channel. The thing about me is that I'm all about talking and sharing my experience and love of something.

I have been a part of YouTube for about 5 years and I've heard that when you're creating stuff on the Internet you should always keep it in the same spot, but I've also heard that you should try to find an audience and a niche and stick to it. But if we are being honest that's never really been me. I don't find one thing and stick to it I jump around and mix things up. Always have and I feel I always will be that way, its just who I am.

I know not many are like me and don't jump around to different things as often as me. I know that some of you come here for different reasons. Some for Anime, Some for Live action, some for both & strangely some just like to hear me talk which I appreciate.

Essentially what this post is about is the future and how you all feel about it. This is more for the YouTube Community over the Patreon community although I will be looking into doing things over here as well in the new year that may help those that don't like being notified for shows they don't enjoy.

Here it is, My QUESTION

What if I created another YouTube Channel? So what I would do is make GeekedOutNation Animation and GeekedOutNation Live-Action.

What this would do on YouTube is if you want all the live action stuff it would go on one channel and if you want animated Shows it would go on a different channel.

It would separate things out and make it so you don't get hit with notifications and a bunch of stuff that you're not into.

Let's say you only like animated shows and anime you can watch it over on one channel or If you only like live action shows you can watch it elsewhere.

In 2019 I really want to go harder and push more time and effort into creating content for you all. I want to share experiences with you. I have in my mind things that I want to do and what I don't want to do is over clutter the channel.

I plan on investing money into my computer and set up thanks to your support and I want to make sure that I can give you more of what you want. My thinking process behind it is that maybe separating the type of content out would make it easier for everyone.

I could even create tiers that separate things out so you can get what you want only instead of getting notified about every show on Patreon if you dont want.

In Conclusion

What do you think? Do you think I should create separate channels?

Comments

I wanted to say "do what works best for you", but I decided to go the selfish route and say do another channel, because it makes it easier for me, as a viewer, to find the content I want to watch.

Everything on here will stay the same. It's really just for YouTube.

Steven Merced

Will they both be attached to the same Patreon? Because for real, my monthly Patreon bill is starting to get out of hand.

Cory Stanish

I'm kinda like you...I watch a lil bit of everything...so it would be easier on me if it's the same channel but whatever works for you will be fine with me
