2019-02-09 20:45:59 +0000 UTCIn previous episodes and the scene where Carlton was ordering the figurines, it has been implied that he has a wife, but they are separated. In this episode in particular, Carlton makes it clear that they are not yet divorced. though. in his message with the figurines he ordered for her....saying from your not quite ex or something like that. Later we see that she sent the figurines back to him with a letter of her own. I'm not sure you heard Carlton reading it, but it said, "Carlton, separated means apart." Then later we, of course, see Carlton shooting the figurines. So, yes, Carlton has a wife, but they are separated, but not yet divorced. As for the fire, I've always assumed it was the Martin Brody personality that set it. I think Robert must have become Regina at some point in the evening and kissed Gus on the forehead because she thinks he's sweet. And then later, Regina must have become Martin and set the fire, I presume, to keep Gus and Shawn from figuring out what was going on and keeping him from stopping Regina. It was also the Martin personality that tried to crash into Shawn and Gus in their car later in the episode.
