I like seeing Deanβs βlayersβ being peeled back, watching his emotions and Samβs reactions and concern for his brother is part of why I love it. But of course the bow chicka wow wow is the best part of the episode for me ππ€ ||. The actress who played Cassie wasnβt as consistent as she maybe should/could have been, but this was her first speaking role on a network show, so considering that, I think she did pretty well. However the woman who portrayed her mother was outstanding. Iβm so glad you enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing more. π¬πβ₯οΈ

2019-04-03 03:28:57 +0000 UTCI agree with you about almost everything you said on this episode. What was weak, what was strong. I disagree with you on the love scene - it wasn't long! That's pretty short. LOL!!!!!! Anyway. I do think that a woman like Cassie would not be interested in a sometimes relationship where she can only be with Dean when he's free and can come back to town. Because in his life, who knows when that would be. Of course, it would be nice. But hard. Dean did seem interested in thinking about it, though. But I wonder if he was just saying that, or does he really think it would work out? One thing about Season 1 that affects the episodes is the budget. I know it is the same for every show, but the budget for SPN season 1 was ridiculously small. It's amazing they were able to get done what they did. Jared and Jensen must have been working for peanuts. But it was a chance at a big break for them, so maybe they were. I hope you continue to like this show. It's my favorite show of any genre, ever. With my favorite characters - of any medium and genre. Ever. You may need to add levels to your episode ranking. Or redo it each season. Just sayin'.

Part of the reason is I'm shallow and I really like seeing a bit of Dean's past coming back at him, and seeing him in a romantic - sorta - relationship. And, um - well, ya know . . lol But, I also like that serious subject of the episode. May not be much real action, but I liked it overall anyway.
