I remember watching them seriously like 50 times, they were so good and i was so hyped to see the rest of the season, whoever told you the series slows down later on lied, the whole series is about Dexter trying to keep from getting found out. I have the whole series on DVD, it's one of my favorite shows Angel Buffy and Dexter.
