2019-06-07 20:08:06 +0000 UTCThis is the thing about Michael that makes him redeemable and a better character than Ricky Gervais' incarnation in the original UK version. He's so doofy and seems to have no social skills and you spend most of the episode internally screaming "OMG Michael, what is wrong with you?!", and then he does something like he did here. It's brilliant, and Steve Carell does it so well.
