And yes. The season finale wasn't intended to be like that. The writer's strike meant they had to wrap up quickly and in a non-fitting way. S02E01 has elements of what the season 1 finale would contain.

2019-06-06 09:45:50 +0000 UTCI loved the comedy in this episode. Casey and Chuck are always great, and while I don't like Morgan, Jeff, or Lester... I loved all the scenes when Casey interrogated them about the marlin. So funny. Also... I love Captain Awesome and Ellie in this episode and Awesome's storyline with wanting to propose to Ellie. They're so good together. And like you said... the emotions from Chuck and Sarah was wonderful, and we even get to see that Casey really does care about Chuck too, when he tells Sarah he can take care of the Fulcrum agent while she saves Chuck. The dynamic between these three is phenomenal. I really like them a lot. Thank you again for another fun reaction for Chuck! This was definitely a good season finale. I hope to see you continue to react to this show.
