I shipped Max and Liz so hard back when I first watched Roswell.....I wasn't even a teen yet and somehow I found the innocence of their relationship very moving. Weirdly enough, I didn't ship Buffy-Angel - though I do see the comparisons to Max and Liz. Now I'm over it. They just come across sappy to me now. I still love Liz as an individual character, but as far as shipping goes, I only ship Michael and Maria together. I love them both and I just think they have a much cooler dynamic. Each time I watch their scenes I notice new things about them that had escaped me before 💓
2019-07-13 01:11:40 +0000 UTCI understand what you mean about the Buffy/Angel comparison, but at least Buffy/Angel were a power couple. Both were strong, capable characters, and although they did make goo goo eyes at each other sometimes, that didn't define the whole of their interaction. Like you, I do love the dynamic between everyone else, though. Just not Max and Liz together. Nor the relentlessly soppy, teen narration by Liz, which is very much Twilight.

2019-06-13 22:53:40 +0000 UTCThis episode was just okay. But you should know that your mic audio is messed up for this video. It's not unwatchable, but it's a little irritating. As for Alex... I really like his character a lot, and I love Colin Hanks. If you like him, you should watch a show titled The Good Guys starring Colin Hanks and Bradley Whitford. It's a cop/buddy show, and it's hilarious. Sadly, it only lasted one season. I think you would really like it a lot.
