Such a great episode and season opener. It also has great music. I don't know if anyone has pointed out the opening credits song is "Short Skirt, Long Jacket" by Cake and the song in the intro of Sarah in the Orange Orange is "Foux de Fafa" by Flight of the Conchords, a great duo and if you've never seen their show, it is great as well. A certain type of humor, but if you like it, it's great. And someone else answered your Huey Lewis question. I'm so excited about you continuing this series. It just gets better and better. I'm a few episodes behind in your reactions, but catching up. :)

2019-06-21 11:37:38 +0000 UTCSeason 2 is better than 1, and definitely worth the time you're giving it. Glad you're keeping up with Chuck as it was 1 of the two shows (VM is the other one) that made me sign up.

2019-06-16 22:26:31 +0000 UTCAmazing that you are continuing Chuck! The reason the Season finale of season 1 didn't feel like a season finale is because it wasn't intended to be the seasons finale. At least not like that. The writer's strike in 2008 kind of halted the season and ended it abruptly.

2019-06-16 06:10:30 +0000 UTCI really loved this episode and it's a great way to start off the new season. Casey and Chuck were fantastic in this and I loved seeing Michael Clark Duncan too. What a fun and great actor that I miss now that he's gone. Thank you so much!

2019-06-15 06:18:32 +0000 UTCWas so happy when saw this popped up. Glad you are reacting to season two of Chuck which is one of my favorite seasons of any shows I've watched. You mentioned a few times of the pilot feel this episode had and there was a reason for it. Season 1 was shortened due to the writer's strike and NBC decided to renew the show for season 2 but not do a shortened back half of season 1 so the show was literally off air for around 8-9 months between seasons. So the producers wrote the episode as kind of a second pilot. Also it is Huey Lewis and the News. I feel so old knowing that off the top of my head.
