Buffy also explained the rules for becoming a vampire in the first episode - the vampire has to suck the victim's blood, and then the victim has to suck the vampire's blood. In Mrs. Summers' case, Darla sucked some of her blood, but Mrs. Summers never drank Darla's blood, and Darla didn't take enough blood to kill her outright.

She meant that she invited him in, but then after she found out he was a vampire, she didn't do anything about it, which meant he could come into her home anytime he wanted.

But him and Buffy!! - he's a bit older you said! yup, about 240 ( turned around the age that the actor is, but I think his age when turned is mentioned somewhere sometime, so won't actually say now) - and Buffy is 16. Ugh it's creepy. Whereas for Buffy it's pretty natural to crush on a handsome young adult man, teenagers always think they are adults already.

She says “ I invited him into my home, and even after I knew what he was I didn’t do anything about it “. Meaning she didn’t try to slay him, as it is her duty, after she found out he was a vampire.

2018-12-08 08:08:08 +0000 UTCI concur with Karissa. I was generous and gave it a 7 because all you have seen is season 1, but compared to the other seasons 7 is high for this one. (For comparison my other rankings would be: 1.01 = 7/8, 1.02 = 6; 1.03 = 6; 1.04 = 2; 1.05 = 5; 1.06 = 5/6.)

She calls it a whole big sucking thing and says mostly they are just gonna kill ya. I agree it’s the best episode at this point. But I can’t go higher than seven because I know how good the best episodes of this show are.

2018-12-07 23:03:31 +0000 UTCI gave the Episode an 8 which may be too high but based on the first season and the first 7 episodes this was by far my favorite. The first two were 6-7 range so I felt that an 8 was ok. If i did 1/2 maybe it would be a 7 1/2
