2018-12-17 02:54:19 +0000 UTCI think some fans can look back on season one with nostalgia, and can say wow that sucked...and not remember that without seeing where the characters go and how the show progresses that it just sucked and there is no nostalgia to boost the score. This is one of the worst of the show. The director of the episode did not direct another in the series. Also, the writers only did one other episode. Please don't judge the show on the first season. Wait to form an opinion until the end of season 2.

2018-12-17 01:13:18 +0000 UTCI gave it a 5. One of the worst episode. Only forgivable because it’s season 1. But in every episode there’s always something to enjoy. Giles and miss Calendar interactions, Buffy in trench coat and sunglasses, the ending with our trio realizing that their love life’s are doomed. And even if the episode was bad, if you get into the deep analysis of the themes, there’s a lot to say about Moloch the corrupter. And about the cavalier attitude towards a student death. A student dies in one of the first scene of the show and Jesse dies in the pilot.

2018-12-16 19:48:57 +0000 UTCYeah.. to me this is the worst episode of the whole show. Some of the dumb ones I can still enjoy because at least they have funny dialogue or a couple of good scenes, but this one is boring too. It’s one of a handful of episodes I really hate in this show.

2018-12-16 16:59:50 +0000 UTCDoctor Who is more a story of the week than a monster of the week. It's a comedy one week action the next then drama and so on. It's a very versatile show and for the sake of continuity you end up having to watch the Christmas episodes that are between seasons.
