Just in case anyone is still reading this: The actor playing the new principal (Snyder) is Armin Shimerman. For the two years he's been recurring on this show he also played a main character at another ensamble show: The bar owner Quark on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Here's an old 1993 interview with him in his costume: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sUYcJ5lOBI#t=1m5s

On this ep - it does have an unexpected twist, but I really hate the sleazy puppet. However, great pay off at the end with 2 fantastic hilarious closing scenes. Well, the first one - not so much the whole scene with the fighting, just that moment when the curtains draw back, Buffy standing there with the puppet, the look on Willows face, and Snyder's - 'i don't get it' LOL . Snyder : "What the hell is this weird post-modern performance art shit?!" I say as someone that knows a lot of peeps that do performance art :D The post credits scene is hilarious :D

I'm just shocked the school allows skirts that short. Especially for the time period. She can wear whatever she wants although I would argue against skirts for fighting, just doesn't seem practical

I hope you’re not clothing shaming Buffy, and more just surprised she can wear that stuff to school. If it’s the latter, I totally agree.

Alexis Cardarella

Oh ok, thanks.

Kristine Sutherland is the actress that plays Buffy's mom, Joyce. Cordelia Chase, played by Charisma Carpenter, is a main character and is in the main/opening credits :)

Anthony

Just went back and watched it. Lmao awesome. Very funny

Steven Merced

You stopped it too soon, there's a little scene that plays at the end credits.

The death toll in Sunnydale is super high but the reaction is like our reaction to mass shootings now, they happen every week or more and we forget the next day if less than 6 or so people die because it's not really news if it's that common. Funny you mention it because I think it's in season 3 that two background characters acknowledge this as they are walking by talking about the football team "If we can focus, keep discipline...and not have quiet as many mysterious deaths. Sunnydale is gonna RULE!". Has nothing to do with the plot just a funny comment by a minor background character that multiple seasons in acknowledges the deaths.
