And I love the Good Will Hunting references. Every time I watch this I watch that right after! Also Rachel Leigh Cook was a bit of a star in early 2000s.

Mr. Yang was played by Ally Sheedy is probably best known for her role in The Breakfast Club. The show has had some really good episodes, especially this season, but I always feel like this is where the show really starts to come into its own. I can't wait for more reactions! :D

I believe she gives the trigger to Shawn because she mentions while she REALLY REALLY badly wants to blow her up, she knows Shawn wouldn't "like her very much" if she did, and she wants Shawn to like her (crazy). Anyway, yeah, the show kind of lacked in heavy hitting season finales until this season... from here on out they kind of figured out to swing for the fences, I love a number of episodes next season, looking forward to it
