Chuck "Chuck Versus the Fake Name" 3x8 Reaction

Sorry continuing from before... Funny thing is i replaced that tv crush with another ultimate tv crush... yeah you guessed it... with Yvonne as Sarah.

Good reaction to a solid episode. Yeah you're right... i had the ultimate tv crush with Kreuk when i was watching Smallville. After a point i was watching only for her and i stopped watching when she left (cause after a point, even with her, the storylines were mediocre at best).

While I really like Kristin Kruek as Hannah here in Chuck, I really hate her as Lana in Smallville. I don't believe it's the actress's fault for Lana being a character most people really hate outside of her being a beautiful woman. It is mostly because of how her character was written above anything else. She's always the damsel in distress and it gets annoying very quickly into the series.

I honestly love the darker turn this season has taken. There is no way you could have a relationship with a civilian whilst being a spy, and showing it in this way is brutal. I also really liked Hannah's character so it's sad to see her go. And Sarah telling Shaw her real name has like 99% to do with Chuck changing and Shaw is just someone she could share her feelings and sadness with. She feels like she's losing Chuck and parts of herself because of it, so she tells Shaw her actual name. I'd still be really upset though if I were Chuck. It's as if Chuck can't do right at this moment. If he wants to be a spy he has to change.

You do see someone with powers almost every episode and the similarities I mentioned are related to the main character with powers and a cast of friends without, helping the main character. In that regard and with the relationships between characters Smallville it's much closer to Buffy than Supernatural is.

Really great episode and reaction. I fully understand it's messed up to date someone when you're not entirely into the relationship.... but... it was Lana Lang! You can't break up with her! Ughhh. Anyway yeah, definitely had a crush on Kristin Kreuk on Smallville, would be entirely on board for a reaction series to that lol

By the way! The Chuck cast just had a reunion on a Zoom call with everyone from the main cast returning to do a table read for an episode. It was AWESOME, and the episode they did a table read for, is the episode you'll react to next: Chuck versus the Beard.

I don't think you have ever seen Buffy going merely by what you wrote. You can promote "Smallville" it is an excellent show, but not in the category of Buffy, it is closer to "Supernatural"

Well at least here Hannah has Chinese ancestry like Kristin who has French-Chinese ancestry. On Smallville her parents couldn't have been whiter. ;-)

Sarah's real name (the parts revealed so far) doesn't sound really good. We've learned in a season one episode that her middle name is Lisa. And now Sam(antha) Sam Lisa Samantha Lisa It doesn't have a good ring to it IMHO.

Lol your crush on Kristin Kreuk (Hannah) is real :D You should really watch Smallville though. It's very similar with what you see on Buffy every week. Bad guys with powers. And one main guy (Clark) with superpowers (like Buffy) and his friends (regular people) who are helping him (like Willow and Xander). It is awesome.
