Yes, Loki totally carried this movie on his back. However, as totally dull as this movie was, it did have some key points to the overall Infinity Saga story line.

Perhaps something changes halfway through but I was bored out of my mind and just didnt feel invested at all. Once I walked away from it I googled it real quick and found that its general considered the worst of the marvel movies

You went into this movie very biased without an opinion of your own, and it showed. Complaining about scenes just to complain was my main take away from this. This movie isn't the best Marvel movie, I agree, but it is a good movie if you see it for what it is: the next chapter in Thor's journey. It shows how he is worthy of being the King of Asgard, it shows how he brought peace to the nine realms, and how the circumstances don't allow him to be king after all. It shows how Loky is a big part of his personal journay and his way to the throne. It's also part of Odin's character development (in hindsight, I gave you that). Also, it really introduces the infinity stones for the first time. We saw the tesseract before, but this really starts the infinity stones saga with the aether. Anyway, I can defend this movie for hours because I like it, but I know a lot of people don't. But what was really disappointing was your reaction. You went in biased, even though you hadn't seen the movie before, and that is not why I watch reaction videos.

2020-05-09 20:49:04 +0000 UTCWhen I was watching these movies for the first time as they released I saw Thor, did not like it and decided to skip all the sequels. Saw Iron Man 2, hated it, never saw Iron Man 3. I loved the first GOTG but never got around to the sequel. As for the Hulk... yeah I never liked the character either, he seems to only be around to say "Hulk Smash" and for memes.

2020-05-09 16:36:45 +0000 UTCIn my opinion... the worst movies within the Avengers Universe are The Incredible Hulk and Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2 for a number of reasons. Thor 2: The Dark World is not nearly as bad as what people might be saying about it. I actually really enjoy this movie just like I enjoy all three Thor movies, mostly because of Loki. He's hilarious in this movie. And I love Thor's friends too.
