That mushroom episode messed me up so badly that I didn't watch the show again for a couple of years because of the nightmares.

2020-09-24 06:52:17 +0000 UTCThis show is kind of prequel to the movie Red Dragon (in a sense). Will Graham is the main character of Red Dragon (played by Edward Norton in the movie) and Freddie Lounes the reporter is in the movie too (he’s male in Red Dragon and played by Philip Seymour Hoffman).

It was a while ago, so you probably don't recall, but Will immediately knew it was someone else, who had put that murder there to show him what he was missing about Hobbes by contrasting the two crimes.

2020-05-09 15:41:21 +0000 UTCI’m so glad you’re watching this again. I think it’s a really good show because it subverts expectations. Also, the movie(s) are good. It starts with Silence of the Lambs (as you know). Then there’s Hannibal which was made in 2001 followed by Red Dragon which was a prequel made in 2002. All three star Anthony Hopkins, but Silence of the Lambs is the only one that was critically acclaimed. Anyway, thanks so much for your reaction!
