Another wonderful episode. It's definitely a lead-in to the climax, but it builds up well and has some good character beats. Plus, the ending was well worth the wait considering how early you first guessed it. On the romance front, I like that they play out what could be considered a love triangle with refreshingly low drama. Yeah, Owen probably has feelings for Nikita - and really, who wouldn't? - but it's not mutual and he understands that and supports her completely in a platonic way. It's similar to how the Cassandra plot is largely about Max and the role of family in Micheal's life more than anything else. I wish more shows would address tropes and dynamics in a similar way.

Despite him being a hardened killer, there's something almost childlike about Owen that makes him seem more like a "little brother" type to Nikita, imo. I only knew Alex's mom as Nina from 24.

I agree about Nikita and Owen...them being romantic isn’t something I want at all. She loves all of her friends,but Michael is who she is in love with. Can’t wait for the next episode and the Michael/Owen team up.
