Like everyone has said before, watch first the movie and then season 4. Season 4 definitely has way more focus as it has one overarching story, and plus it is way less episodes than previous seasons. As far as Veronica and Logan being selfish people, i kinda disagree. I believe they have different priorities than their boyfriend/girlfriend. I mean for Veronica the priority is her future work and career at this moment and not some college relationship of 1-2 weeks... Which is the correct way of seeing things imo. For Logan the priority is his long time friend and their time together than his current relationship (if you remember in previous seasons, Logan often bailed on Dick and his friends for some time with Veronica). Although in Logan's defense it is a big deal trip that they have been planning for some time, so there's also that.

2020-05-19 07:43:43 +0000 UTCThe reason his rental car had the plates from a stolen car is that when someone steals a car they need to switch the license plates to buy more time to keep from getting caught. Switching with a rental car is the safest bet since it's less likely for the cops to run a rental cars plates for no reason.

2020-05-18 13:11:31 +0000 UTCI definitely understand what you were saying about Logan/Veronica and how they act in regards to relationships and I wouldn't' say they complete don't care, but these are two people that are natural loners and are very self sufficient. Which when they are with each other can work very well, but yes, when they are dating people like Piz/Parker it does not form lasting relationships. I am still surprised at how long the writers sustained the Piz and Veronica relationship and this is one of the reasons that I am still surprised at the how long they were together; besides her attachment to Logan.

2020-05-18 11:53:10 +0000 UTCJust remember, you have to watch the movie BEFORE season 4. Also, there are 2 novels that take place between the movie and season 4. Almost all of your issues with season 3 are a direct result of network interference. The execs at the CW did a fine job of ruining what was an awesome show. Anyway, what I love about this ep is we finally see some actual depth from Dick. Ryan Hansen is finally allowed to show that he can act. Dick is almost as tortured as Logan. They both come from crappy families that did them serious psychological harm. Logan copes by being an ass. Dick copes by being shallow and vapid. As for the actor who plays Apollo, on my last rewatch it suddenly hit me that I recognized him from True Blood. I may not love this season, but it has it's moments of greatness.
