Yeah- in terms of the class structure, it’s the rich and working lower class, many of whom work for the rich, and not much middle class in between. Great reaction.. Happy to see you loving Logan the past few episodes. He has had quite the arch 🤗

They established very early in the series that doesn’t he the admin staff, everybody made bank when the streaming software went live - all staff for stock in Kane Software as part of their salary, and it went through the roof.

2019-07-12 02:02:37 +0000 UTCYeah, regarding Veronica's grades, when she paid for her mom to go to rehab it was clear that Veronica has been working so hard so that she can pay for college. She knows her dad won't be able to help her out so she's been working hard to save money, but also to get goods grades so she can attend the schools she wants to and have a chance at scholarships. She's just unimpressed by the school and how people have treated her and her family since Lilly's death - thus the behavioral problems. The idea is a town without a middle class and the whole it's uber rich and those that "work for them" includes people who aren't directly employed by the rich families like Keith working as a detective, or the Cho's pizza place, but still rely on those rich people for their income. That's what the show is trying to say, but I think Wallace's mom is a good example of where that breaks down. She works an office job for Kane software, that feels middleclass to me.

2019-07-11 18:37:18 +0000 UTCCool reaction. Yeah at this point i was also beginning to consider Logan being my favorite character (after Veronica of course). Certainly the most interesting one. The mystery in this one i thought was lame BUT i loved the inclusion of Vanlowe (i find him hilarious) and i also liked the conclusion of it. The case with the murder of Lilly certainly moved forward in this episode, and it does seem that everything's pointing at Duncan (btw i also thought that Duncan would play a more central role when the show begun, but soon became glad that he didn't as i really don't like the character and the way the actor is playing him). Final 5 episodes i believe are some of the best of the season...

2019-07-11 11:50:46 +0000 UTCIn regards to the school... it’s a public school. Everyone in Neptune is eligible to attend. It’s just that Neptune mostly consists of the über rich and the working class. Like Veronica states in the pilot episode “Neptune, California- a town with the middle class”. In terms of Veronica’s grades, I could be wrong, but I don’t remember them ever mentioning she’s a bad student. Yes she’s had some “behavioural” issues but she’s not flunking out or behind. She works and studies hard and, as shown time and again, is very smart. I’ve never questioned the thought that she’s a top student.
