BTW: For those who may have missed it: The officer at the very first scene had a picture of his son on the desk. That son was the kid that Boomer rescued off of Caprica. For us oldtimers it was easier to make that connection because his name had historical weight.

I really hope you continue with the show fam - if not for reactions then for your own entertainment, because it is essential viewing for any sci-fi fan :)

2019-07-14 20:38:44 +0000 UTCRegarding the 12 models: The only one we know that knows was Baltar. Head-Six told him that there were that many models. But the message could have come from someone else. Also consider that if Head-Six is just an imagination in Baltar's mind trying to rationalize everything and helping him analyze the situation, the number 12 could also just be something he just made up. Just like he made up that this Doral guy was a Cylon when Head-Six told him she hadn't seen him in any of the meetings. So we'll see when we'll see.

2019-07-14 08:15:51 +0000 UTCthats some of the great parts of this show. it doesnt hide from the tough choices nor does it hide from the consequences of those choices. . when a choice is made it lingers through the show for a long while. .consequences of unforseen choices play out alot. . issues of morality play out through out the show as well with alot of shades of grey. . only 50k left of the species and being chased across the stars typical moral guides shiuft over time. . how far do you go to make sure you keep surviving. . politics play out at several crossroads over the 4 seasons in very real ways. . even religion becomes a solid sticking point at times. . its an extremely well roundded and meaningful story thats very impactful. . the characters are all very well written however you do get to see how they adapt and change when confronted with this new reality their facing. . its truly a spectacular show. . and to me one of the very best scifi shows ever put together
