Honesty and transparency are hugely appreciated. I respect somebody who makes the effort to explain why things are the way they are. I don't think you have to tell us about the personal stuff though, not if it's really uncomfortable! Look after your own wellbeing first, for sure. :-)

Hazel Angus

Forget the haters. Continue being the coolest, hardest working reactor out here! Us real supporters got your back. 😉

Marshall Dante Robertson

None of it is a big deal for the majority of the people who support your content. I, for one, knew that you don't keep a regular schedule and upload in flurries of activity occasionally interrupted by life, work or technical issues, when I subbed. You do what you do and the people who enjoy what you do and how you do it, get on board or don't. Updates are nice, and they help offset expectations when you have said you will be uploading and then are prevented from doing so (because shit happens) - but they are not mandatory, they are not owed. It's nice that you feel comfortable being open with us - and feeling like we know you a little is also nice. I don't mind if you don't update us, but I would hate to think you were put off from being as open with us by comments in here.

Dani C

I'm in the "you don't owe us an explanation" camp, but updates are great because I do get worried about the safety of creators when they don't post for awhile. If we get ghosted, I'm always wondering if they are alive and well.

Ashley

Updates abt situations are good!!! And you do it. And also you are very open abt how you roll. A schedule would be nice but it wouldn’t stop people from lashing out like that commenter when real life happens. Your channel is very unique due to the sheer number of shows for a single reactor and people should realize that your format is not designed for a “weekly guarantee” of certain show. While I can understand that commenter’s frustration - it was as if they didn’t want to see the reality of how this channel flowed or even that ::gasp:: you had an actual life outside of Patreon or that it could possibly have an impact.

Mairead

I actually prefer to know what's up when a reactor vanishes for a while, even if it's just a 'didn't feel like reacting' thing, or a 'personal matters' thing. I don't think there's anything wrong with sharing with people what's up, and if you have no problems sharing, then go for it. Also, I personally, never had any problems with a lack of schedules, I'm not big on them myself. I can see how some people might feel frustrated if they like to know things like 'Tuesdays at 10 this reaction goes up' but most people, I hope, would be mature and understanding about you getting to things when you get to them. I do watch other reactors and everyone has their own style. I know at least one reactor who seems to get burned out by keeping a schedule and will end up disappearing for a significant length of time due to that so I really think the you do you philosophy should apply to reacting. The main thing I would do if you don't already is make sure that anyone who might want to pay here on patreon, is aware before they do so, that the scheduling isn't exact so they don't hold that kind of expectation, and that way they can't really complain about it since they'll know what they're getting into. (Though maybe you already do that. It's not something I would have cared about or paid much attention to myself.)

Jayna

I appreciate it when creators provide updates, but I do not expect it. You create a ton of content while maintaining a busy life of employment and other obligations. I've been a podcaster for years, and it requires a lot of effort, time, and expense. I can't imagine editing reactions, plus all the time you put in to go back through the episodes and talk about certain scenes. You are the first reactor I've seen to do that, and because I am a very visual person, I really like that. I haven't always agreed with you, but I appreciate your honesty. I've watched some of your opinions shift, and sometimes it's influenced by your engagement with us, which is what makes fandom so fun. I also live in NY, so I'm all too familiar with constant internet outages, often due to construction going on somewhere. Whatever the source of your occasional hiccup is, don't worry. You have a life -- that comes first. Cheers.

Rachael

You're my only paid content. So I guess I don't have anything to compare with when it comes to schedules or tech issues. What I care most about is your reaction. Nobody else gave sincere reactions that felt so in line with what I was experiencing too (I swear so many are bad actors pretending it's the first time they've seen something). So I'm perfectly happy getting one great reaction to Supernatural from you per week (I think that's roughly your schedule? Sometimes twice a week?). And I appreciate your honesty when issues arise instead of ghosting.

Amy Rustand

I really appreciate your transparency and openness when something happens (or in general for that matter). I personally realize that I tend to be more keen to keep pledging as a patron for creators who have this attitude. Not that I think it is necessary for you to disclose more than you’re confortable with, I think it’s important that you and us respect your boundaries as well. But it’s still nice to you to keep us updated on what’s happening when there’s a problem (especially since I had a couple bad experiences with creators who kept disappearing without explanation, which I found kind of disrespectful). And I would never begrudge you when something happen because you’re posting a lot anyway and it’s obvious how dedicated you are to your reaction channel.

Myriam Daoust

I don't think you owe us an explanation. I also happen to like the updates cause then I can go.. "okay he is off schedule don't look for the show you want right now" i think you could tell us less... Like instead of the specific issue you could just say "computer issues, reactions delayed" but what ever makes you comfortable :)

Heather Flores-Ricks

You update so much! I’m sorry but if people think your not posting as much as you should, or are not keeping any type of consistent schedule have CLEARLY not experienced other reactors. Compared to some other reactors, you post about 10x the amount others do. I’m surprised honestly that you are able to do all that you do and get done all that you do get done. Out of everyone that I support on Patreon your channel is the most worth it, easily. Won’t name names, because that’s not cool to throw other channels under the bus, I’ll keep it anonymous; but I supported one guy who posted about 1 episode of a show a month out of like 2 or 3 shows all together. Now, not saying that that’s bad or he should’ve done better, he did what he could, but compared to channels like yours where you post as much as you do, like the value of what I’m spending every month, to me personally, doesn’t even compare. Like when you post that your having any technical issues, I’m like “this guy just posting like 5 or 6 reactions for the last 5 days straight, he doesn’t need to explain himself” you do WAY WAY more than other reactors so don’t sweat the heat your getting! Sorry if I went off track in my rambling,Lol hope you have a nice day! ❤️

Ceara Abrahamsz

Maybe you should consider narrowing down the amount of shows you do. I would get burnt out with the amount of shows you have to watch. Burnout means you´re not enjoying them as much as you could.

Joshua L Davis

I love this channel, I don’t watch all your shows, but have a few favorites, and of course I want as many episodes of my show as possible. BUT I know other have other favourite shows and are glad for them when their shows are Done. I like your updates very much and think it shows that you care. I want you to have fun with this, thats what Makes it fun for us, AND what makes you not burn out! Remember that whatever you do some people Will like it, and some don’t, do what worked for u! Again, I appreciate your updates!

Mariella Nilsson

This is a form nhi of entertainment it doesnt bother me at all if your a few days late, I like your content and will continue watching, and a few sentences explaining the 'lateness' is welcomed.

Amanda Logsdon

First of all, I don't know who has been accusing you of lying, but I started watching some of your older episodes where you mention at the beginning of the video that you've been having problems with your computer. Being in IT myself, I knew it was only a matter of time before more equipment went bad. Technology this age lasts at most 4-5 years before it becomes outdated and too slow, and sometimes things just break. It sucks because those are just more costs that you didn't plan on having to worry about. It's not your fault, and I appreciate the updates.

LunaMoths

It's great that you keep us up to date if you have problems. People need to appreciate you have a life too. Also, technology isn't perfect. Every single creator has that issue, people complaining about it are acting as if they've never had something stop working. I say carry on as you are and do the best to your abilities, which I personally enjoy. Nobody ever sticks to their schedule anyway.

Mandzipop

I think it's very responsible that you tell us when there is an issue. Yes, we pay for content and when you let us know there is a problem we aren't just out here wondering where the videos are. You can never please everyone and there will ALWAYS be someone who think they can do it better. I read some of that post and i thought it was rude and ridiculous. People are free to unsubscribe if they don't feel they are getting what they want. Most of the creators I patron have lives and day jobs and crap goes wrong and that's life. Do your thing, you do it very well. You give us a lot of content and I don't know how you have time to do it all, so you must love doing this.

Brenda Lewis

I appreciate that you update us. I'd rather know what's going on than wonder what's happening if you haven't posted for a few days.

Christine

It seems like some people are just being overly critical of you. I personally don’t notice that much when you’re “late” or behind with reactions mostly because I have a busy life myself...8-5 M-F job so I often fall behind on watching reactions. I appreciate you always keeping us updated though because I like that better than just wondering. You’re juggling this with a job and family obligations. I don’t expect you to just be a machine and pump out reactions when I expect them. Keep doing what you do because I enjoy your work.

Katherine Thoreson

Since I Watch the majority of the show to you do it does not matter me when you have any issues or things that come up because we all go through life and sometimes things happen anybody who tires to make you feel bad for unexpected things is not a respectful person and should leave if they can't handle way thing here one this channel P.s I like the transparency because we don't have sit around wondering whats going on so please keep that going Thanks

Donell Robbins

I love it when you update us. Like you said in your post, you go away for a couple days after a long streak of posting everyday and I’d worry if everything was ok. Besides that, I think it shows you care enough to keep us informed when there are issues. A big plus in my opinion. I say keep doing what you’re doing. It’s what drew many of us to become patrons in the first place.

J Scott Page

Shit, life happens. But you could do less with the number of shows you're reacting (you're certainly not alone). We live in a era of binge watching and people wanting to get through the shows as quickly as possible. To be honest, I usually have to unsubscribe and subscribe again in a few months to binge watch the 2-3 shows that I do watch reactions to.

Rey Gallogo

Alright honest talk, all good on my end, never even crossed my mind what was written in that post by that user. I saw that post and just though "wow that is super rude and unfair" but others had pretty much said already what needed to be said about it. Not once were I under the impression that you were "decieving" anyone or making stuff up. You always come across as honst and I personally don't even feel like you miss a lot. We all know that there is no definit shedule and "real life" (for a lack of a better word) should always come first. If you have fun with your reactions and enjoy them, then that is also the best content for us. Nothign would be worse then you beeing under the impression that you have to force two or three more episodes out on a day even though you don't feel like it, that would just end it les enjoyable content for both sides, you and us. Yeah sure we are a bit behind on some stuff, but so what? You do a ton of content that's just normal that some stuff falls a bit behind, but you are honest about it, you communicate it and you try your best to catch up, nothing will be left out and that is all anyone can ask for and should ask for in my opinion. Especially since you pump out so much content anyway. Honestly, just continue to do what you did and don't take that rude comment by one person too hard, I am more then willing to bet that the majority of your Patreons does not share the view that was presented in that comment.

Jalios

The updates are great, buddy. Information is always good as far as i'm concerned (both good and bad). So yeah, please continue informing us of what your plans are, and problems that occur along the way. Keep up the good work!

Fredrik IB

People being rude is fine, I just wanted to give my thoughts on it. And give my side of how things go.

Steven Merced

Honestly, I don't think you owe anyone any explanation if you don't feel like giving one. I'd rather you do what is comfortable for you. Personally, however, I love it when you give us little status updates, because when things "go dark" for a bit, my mind starts inventing all sorts of scenarios for what might be happening on your end. When I see your update posts, it puts my mind at ease. :)

Amanda S

I really appreciate when you update us that you cant upload. Also, you shouldn't make a schedule right now I think, you have too much on your plate for the schedule to work, and like u said, u skip one day because xyz and it's all messed up. I like that you are always honest and talk about stuff that happen to you, it's better to hear that than silence for days. Also I would like to add that you shouldn't focus that much when one person gets upset because they didn't like what you did, 95% of your community is understanding and great, you should just be you. Haters gonna hate.

Jayson

Do your thing man. We donate to get a slice of someone else’s world. If people can’t appreciate the way things roll sometimes then oh well for them. I appreciate your hard work and the time you spend to give us real reactions. Updates are cool if you feel ok sharing what’s going on. Can’t wait to watch more whenever they come out. Thanks and happy holidays 🤘

Jessica Collins

Personally, I find it refreshing how open you are, and it never seems disingenuous. To me, it shows that you respect us enough to keep us in the loop about what goes on and why sometimes videos are delayed, be it due to you having a rough work week, feeling poorly or technical issues, like the monitor. You are who you are, and who you are is ultimately the reason we decided to pledge in the first place. That's my reason anyway... So don't worry about people with their knickers twisted, or who are feeling entitled to more than you can provide. You do do many shows, so if course sometimes it will vary in volume of uploads. But we all knew this going in, or quickly found out once pledged. And anyone who chooses to stay pledged, in my opinion accepts those terms. 🤷‍♀️ Keep it up, cos you're doing just fine! ❤ And happy Christmas while you're at it 🎄😁🍻

Signe (Seena) Stewart

I'm a picky asshole at times and demand my content on time. Posts like these make me remember you also have a personal life and youre trying your your hardest to keep your supporters happy. It can be annoying but at least I know what's going on. Now enough of my selfish side. Keep up the great work and understand your worth. The service you provide far outweighs a minor inconvenience for most of your supporters and they'll keep watching.

Jancarlo Gutierrez

People are so annoying, they are so many reactors out there or on patreon who just post one video per a day (if we are lucky) there are not much reactors who post on same day at least 4 or 5 reactions and let people decide what to watch, so sorry but some people are assholes. You don't need to explain yourself, on my list of reactor you and JuliDG are the only one who post a lot every freaking day of the week, and when there are issue with internet, materials or simply with family I don't blame them to take a day or two because they care so much about us that they give so much of their time to record, share and all for us, missing so much time for themselves, the least we can do it's give them a break when they need it or be patient when there is a problem.

Anaïs

When I subbed I knew you didn’t have a schedule but loved the reaction I would 100% rather you stay the way you are and the reason I subbed than stress and stretch yourself out to where you seem tired in reactions

cam

Please do not apologize for having issues. I believe you and I appreciate you informing us when things go wrong. And things do go wrong. I understand that very well. I'm so sorry that people have been rude towards you over these latest issues you've had. That's rotten and cruel of them to do, when you're doing all you can for us. I understand that too. Best of luck to you in getting everything fixed the way you want them to be. Be well. :) Sincerely, Heidi
