2020-01-04 14:26:18 +0000 UTCI absolutely loved watching you laugh along and react to this episode; and kudos to you for sticking through it when you feel like crap!! A couple of things: first ennui is a French term that doesn’t exactly have an English equivalent. It’s sort of like melancholy + boredom. Second, I completely agree with you about Dean. I’m not sure this scene by itself would have made me feel like Dean has anger issues, but this paired with his reaction to Rory not being able to say “I love you” earlier in the season definitely gave me that feeling and it’ll be interesting to see how that goes in the future. Third I think that Rachel and that whole arc did have a bit of a purpose but it was mostly getting Luke to realize his feelings for Lorelai. Fourth and last of all, the season doesn’t have much of a cliff hanger per se, but between Dean and Rory getting back together, Luke’s acknowledgement of his feelings, and the proposal from Max to Lorelai, there’s quite a bit to look forward to. I especially am interesting the proposal bit since when Lorelai was asked if it was good news, she essentially said maybe as if she’s conflicted about it. It’ll be interesting to see how that all pans out. Anywho, great tea action!!
