NOOOOOOO!!! I'm not ready for David Tennant's end for DW!!! I genuinely thought we still have 1 more season left with him...💔💔💔

2023-03-23 15:29:53 +0000 UTCI'm a bit late to the party, but Big Finish (who make officially licensed Doctor Who Audio Dramas) actually covered what Rose was up to in a recent story, and how she searched for The Doctor leading up to Turn Left. The story is called "Rose Tyler: The Dimension Canon", and it's a really good listen!

2020-02-20 00:41:11 +0000 UTC10 days and still no WHO series 4 finale? What is up with that?!

2020-01-21 08:46:00 +0000 UTCThe reason for Sarah Jane crying will all become clear, don't want to give away any spoilers

2020-01-18 19:42:50 +0000 UTCExcellent reaction. I love that you have managed to pretty much avoid spoilers for the show - difficult when it's been running such a long time. Can't wait for the finale!

2020-01-18 09:53:37 +0000 UTCLoved your reaction to this one. I've been looking forward to this story arc. Poor Harriet Jones, but she died a hero. And Rose--finally finding the Doctor only to have this happen. This episode gives me all the feels.

2020-01-17 17:23:44 +0000 UTCDavros is the original creator of the daleks. He shows up in classic who a bunch of time. Hes the one who created the dalek race after his planet was flooded with radiation from the war. Hes fully insane, basically like a dalek but w emotions
2020-01-17 16:22:53 +0000 UTCI never knew that.......brilliant!!!!!

2020-01-17 13:21:04 +0000 UTCQuick continuity: Harriet Jones stated that the “subwave network”, used to communicate with all the companions, was created by the “Mr Copper Foundation”. Copper was the fellow in the Christmas episode “Voyage of the Damned” where at the end he discovered that the credits he issued made him a millionaire: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBIFgTQgHZs Side note: I always enjoyed Clive Swift's work, who passed away last year, on the series “Keeping Up Appearance”. Too funny. RIP man …..

2020-01-17 13:12:12 +0000 UTCI’m glad you said it: It’s hard to rate this one without the other part. This one is an amazing stand-alone episode though. I love seeing so many OG characters all together!! Awesome reaction!

2020-01-17 12:42:35 +0000 UTCThis was actually the very first ep I ever saw of DW. All my internet friends were freaking out (i think it was a weekly broadcast back then so the wait for the conclusion of this ep was epic) and I knew nothing about DW. So I just jumped in and started with this one lol. I remember being very confused about the robots with plungers. Then I went back to 1x1. Looking fwd to next ep!

2020-01-17 03:07:54 +0000 UTCMy only issue is how they introduced Davros, not the reveal that was handled very well, just the who his character was before they bring him in. They had 4 seasons to talk about him at some point.

2020-01-17 01:06:44 +0000 UTC"10" owned the stage, but "11's" hour is rising now. It hit us all hard at the time.

2020-01-17 01:04:52 +0000 UTCThat is one of the best explanations of that show.

2020-01-17 00:57:45 +0000 UTCI can write it because you said it first.

2020-01-17 00:09:12 +0000 UTC"Bad Wolf" is a Rose/Doctor warning system spread across all space and time by her looking into the heart of the TARDIS, when dealing with the Daleks.

2020-01-17 00:02:43 +0000 UTCAs you correctly remembered, Sarah-Jane got her own show called The Sarah Jane Adventures. It was aimed at younger children (keep in mind that Doctor Who was always aimed at children, just older ones). They re-introduced the Slytheen (the farting aliens) but made them more kid-friendly than in their Doctor Who episodes). Later on in that show The Doctor (not saying which one) also visits the show and the companion before Sarah-Jane, Jo Grant, takes also part in that mini reunion. Unfortunately, Elisabeth Sladen has passed away in 2011.

2020-01-16 23:47:04 +0000 UTCSarah-Jane's 1973 introductory episode (back then with the Third Doctor) was also the introduction of the Sontarrans (the clone race from the Atmos two-parter). It was called The Time Warrior.

2020-01-16 23:41:19 +0000 UTCDavros is the creator of the Dalek race. There was one story with the Fourth Doctor and Sarah-Jane Smith where they met Davros when he was creating the Daleks. The serial is from 1975, called Genesis of the Daleks
