Greats moments that are better appreciated once you see the whole Pylea arc. The revelation about Wolfram and Harth being a pan dimensional reality is huge. Like you I didn’t care much for the Cordelia/Gruselag interaction. I get what they were going for but the self awareness doesn’t excuse the exploitation with Cordelia’s character. The humor was great with Angel and his obsession with his reflection. And I like how in typical Tim Minnear style it’s become a very deep exploration of Angel true self when he turns into his true demonic aspect and he is overwhelmed. By the way I think Fred guessed that the blood would work after witnessing Angel savagely feed on the pylean soldier. Lorne hurting his people with his spectacular singing was foreshadowed in previous episodes (happy anniversary) and lampshaded in both “belonging” and “over the rainbow “ where he tells over and over again that there is no music in his world. I highly recommend that you watch Numfar do the dance of joy and the dance of honor again, now that you know that it’s Joss Whedon under the makeup. And you can see David Boreanaz almost cracking up in the background.
