Jim and Pam are most definitely the best couple in television. I bought my husband a coffee mug that says “You’re the Jim to my Pam”. They’re definite relationship goals. Yes, the song/dance thing was something that went viral (before viral was really a thing) about 15 years ago when a couple actually did that and used that song. There were, of course, copycats for a few months. It’s one of the things that dates the show, but you can still find the original on YouTube, I’m sure. I love the rest of this season.

I love so much they decided to have their own secret wedding, like a secret only they know. Man I would hate if people pull something like this during my wedding. But it does make a great episode and great comedy. But I would not have this events of this episode happening any other way. Also I don't know if you realise the parallel between Jim and Roy. In the booze cruise she said to Roy that she doesn't want to get married on a boat and then she married Jim on a boat. Love that. Mindy Kaling wrote this episode BTW. Kelly and Ryan are two characters that I hate with a passion but that just proves how good they are as writers. Her and BJ Novak write the best episodes. Also Stanley brought his mistress not his wife to the wedding :))))). Cannot wait to see your reaction for next episode.. just gonna give you a hint, the fact that Michael slept with Pam's mom is going to come out, obviously. Until next time.
