I feel like I'm having a mandela effect moment. Haven't seen most of the series since they originally aired on tv, but I could have sword that Quinn did do something for revenge in NY... Can't for the life of me remember what I think that was, but did they cut a scene, or am I just having a crazy moment? Very possible.

While I'm not a big Finnchel fan, I appreciate their relationship, but that kiss was unnesessary.

Glee definitely half people’s opinions and say it gets very stupid and stuff makes no sense and people like Quinn are pushed aside and are given nothing but I try to move past it and the stupidness just becomes funny and I love glee to death and I feel like season 3 is awesome but it starts slow, so can’t wait for season three and give Finn a break lol

Jake Sullivan

Suspension of disbelief is one thing but a show choir that can write, arrange, choreograph, and tech two original songs overnight and still place so high with no real rehearsal is absurd. Was the kiss the real reason the did not place or was it the sheer lack of preparation?

This was indeed a pretty flat finale, imo. Like, they were already all about hyping up next year, nobody really seemed to care about Nationals here, so it was pretty obvious from the outset they weren't gonna win. Just felt like they were going through the obligatory motions to fill the gap 'til next season.

I’m sure Finchel fans were so happy about that kiss, but it really bugged me. They ruined two years of hard work for “love” ugh. I’m mixed going into season three. Some episodes I love, but there are some I really hate.

Truthfully this wasn't the best finale for me but season 2 is still my favorite season due to the fact that it focused on people I actually really care about and focused on developing relationships. Season 3 has great music and some storylines are really good but overall it is not my favorite for the simple fact that there is an extremely offensive storyline and that season does not show my two favorite characters as much as they did in season 2 which really sucked. Season 2 also has two of my favorite episodes of the entire show. I disagree that not a lot happened this season, they focused on developing klaine and brittana which I really loved, and finally Santana got more screen time and story than she did in season 1 and I thought her storyline this season was amazing. Season 3 is still really enjoyable though and for some reason I have a feeling you will probably like it more than season 2. Can't wait for your reactions!!

Season 3 of Glee is the height of Glee, in my estimation. That doesn't mean there aren't bad/nonsensical/frustrating moments. Overall though, I think they do some amazing character explorations, introduce some fun characters and have some of the best episodes of the series! This finale feels VERY anticlimactic to me, and I was very surprised that they even placed 12th. I think they should not have even placed in the top half.

Yay... Now for my favorite glee season... FINALLY.

my favorite season is season 3. I know lots of people prefer season 2 but for all the reasons you listed season 2 wasn't as exciting. season 3 for me dives more into the real shit and I love that. also will wasn't as annoying to me in season 3 as he was in season 2. same goes for rachel.

Season 3 has one of the most offensive storylines of the whole series and because of that it can never be my favorite. The music is great and it does have some amazing plot lines, but the stuff that is bad is downright terrible. Season 2 has the most focus on the characters that I care about (Kurt, Santana, Quinn, Mercedes, Blaine, Rachel) and builds the relationships between Kurt/Blaine & Brittany/Santana very well, which is not the case for season 3. Without spoiling, season 3 is also heavy on a pairing I don’t care about. There are just directions they took with that season that really ruin characters and story arcs. There is still some amazing music and great moments, though. Very curious to see your reactions.

I just think the writing and character building is better in season 2 and I think that season 2 is more balanced in terms of multiple characters getting storylines. While other characters have great moments in season 3, it’s very heavy on two certain characters that i just got tired of. Season 3 also handled some particular storylines really badly and it just put me off.

Elizabeth

We’ll never know what Quinn’s big plans were in New York lol. I assume it was to sabotage the glee club but they just didn’t build that up well. I agree that this finale is not the best, but it was a fun episode. I agree with what they said in the episode. This year was not about the competition and winning. It was about building these characters and relationships. When it comes to what season is the best, it honestly just depends on what type of music you like and who your favorite characters are. My favorites are Kurt, Blaine, and Santana so that’s why season 2 is my favorite. When it comes to season 3, there are things about it that are better than 2 and things that are worse. Season 3 is also when the show stoped being exclusively written by the creators of the show and they hired a writing team, and the writing really took a dive in some areas. I’ll elaborate on that when we get to it. Can’t wait to see what you think ❤️

Elizabeth

I personally think Season 3 is better than Season 2. I’m not spoiling details of storylines but to me more than anything Season 2 set up storylines for things that will be addressed further in Season 3 such as introducing Blaine (you will see more going on with Kurt & Blaine’s relationship in Season 3) also Santana was struggling to come to terms with her sexuality in Season 2 (in Season 3 you will still see that she is still struggling). Also to me a highlight to look forward to in Season 3 is that Santana’s singing voice will be featured in more performances. In Season 1 Santana had a few lines each episode and her singing voice was only featured a little bit. In Season 2 Naya became a series regular so Santana's singing voice is heard more than it was in Season 1 but really it felt like Season 2 was more about giving Santana more of a storyline because in Season 1 she was more of a background character. Season 3 to me is the perfect blend of Santana having both storylines but also getting to hear her singing voice in many performances. In Season 3 there is one performance that features Santana that is my favorite performance that happened on Glee.

Who also wants more glee??

lila22

I´m not really a fan of Season1 haha and Season 2 is one of my favorite seasons (Maybe even my fav) and i also love the performances and finchel as leads, but i get where you coming from, and i think in this aspects you will really love season 3

That kiss scene between Finn and Rachel got me annoyed, every time I watched it, I mean they're in a national competition and all they manage to do is kiss like they can't do it later, as if this competition could not change their future. Anyway, it's true that there is an incomplete feeling, they still miss things and I'm sure you will enjoy the surprises of the coming seasons. Because frankly, the continuous duet of Finn and Rachel first which ends with a group song, we have seen it too many times.

Three are two huge issues with Glee on their actual competition performances. 1. The whole we are doing everything at the last minute. That's not how these things work at all. You generally have pieces that you have worked on for months. You usually even have a backup piece or two just in case a group in front of you performs a song you were going to do. But this year (both the mid season and the season finale have them also writing the music and doing it in the last days or night before. Then 2 you have the fact that New Directions can't really compete with other groups you have performing. For starters in almost every other group you have actual performers with real dance experience. You have several cast members of Glee who don't have dance experience, or in the case of Artie (who is played by an actor who can dance), a character who can't. This is made even more obvious because due to the nature of tv production, they have very little rehearsal time in real life for their dance numbers (especially their group numbers). The outside groups they get to perform can rehearse, to their hearts content as they don't generally have anything else they are filming that week, so it makes it look even worse. There is no time in the shows production this isn't a factor to some degree. As for Quinn, yeah it didn't amount to anything, but it most likely was just her wanting someone to pay attention to her. That's what Brittany and Santana did. Give her some time where she is their focus, and lets Quinn get some of the pain out of her system. And you're right the first time I went to New York to perform with my choir, hell yes we were excited to see the sights and take in a show. Of course, we performed material we had spent 4 months working on....so we had time for the fun sight seeing stuff.

Mark Wood

Season 3 is personally my favorite even tho some things didn’t make sense. It has my favorite couple in it from the whole series. AND THE DRAMA IS SO JUICY. Season 3 is the bomb.

Kyra 🌟

I can’t wait for season three

sn

For me, season 3 was always where it was at. I never understood the people who say 2 was their best season. I think season 2 got a little dull. 3 imo has better episodes, songs, character development and higher stakes... can't wait for the next reaction.

AllieDoh

I know what they're missing, it's actual dancing and other voices. I like Finn and Rachel duets but it got repetitive and annoying by the end of Season 2. This nationals performance was kinda bland and boring. I skipped it 😂

Mrs Payne

This finale was flat to me too. I skipped some parts of this episode because I honestly didn't care about half the things that were happening.
