They're not supposed to eat until they die, they eat humans so they are trying to find a way to make a complacent "livestock". To make people easy prey the way cows are to us.

2021-05-21 22:25:18 +0000 UTCI always forget that this episode is where Bobby gets shot until near the end... the comedy of this episode is quite amazing, and then it ends with that cliffhanger... Supernatural can make you switch from laughing at 'the rise of dick' to 'oh crap'. It's the beauty of the show, you go from laughing to concern or crying. Season 7 is better than I remember whenever I rewatch it. I find the overall story arc is better than season 6 which had multiple story arcs in (but it was mainly about souls being power). At least this season we have a big bad, and this is the episode the big bad gets fleshed out - Dick Roman. This joke when Bobby says now he's seen everything... it's like whenever anyone says 'I've seen everything... have you ever seen a man eat his own head...' well now Bobby HAS seen everything!! I laughed a lot at this episode - but that could be the rum talking... and then when I realised that this episode was where Bobby got shot.... well.... I look forward to seeing your next reaction (if you do it once a week I assume it'll up tomorrow - I hope so!)

2021-01-22 02:38:31 +0000 UTCMan, it's so sad that they didn't developed the Leviathan story better. You can probably see by now that they are a different kind of monster. They are smarter, faster and more inventive than any other Supernatural being. Operating from the shadows using the means of their environment (people inventions, not spells and other flashy stuff). For me the best episodes of Supernatural were the ones where the brothers fight regular humans (the twist of it) or when they were on the run. I bet this season would have been the best if Leviathan were fleshed out more and caused more trouble for the brothers. Imagine Dick with his power becoming president or something and unleashing something like the military against Sam and Dean, it would have been awesome.
