No? He didn't just have a theory which I spoiled the answer to, there would have to have been a murder that Alaric did not commit for there to be 'another' killer. No murder that wasn't Alaric -> no other killer. It's just logic. It's not even looking ahead and seeing that there was no other killer and saying it. Yes, there COULD be someone else killing people, but the show has not shown or suggested that, so, the question does not make sense. If we assume that someone else IS walking around killing people and that gets revealed the next episode - his question still does not make sense at this point in time. What other killer? What other murder? Me saying there is no other killer does not mean nothing is happening with Jeremy. Jeremy COULD be killing people like Alaric was, BUT the show has not shown/told us of any murders that weren't Alaric, ergo it's impossible for the audience to know that there is "another" killer at this point in time. The audience could theorize that there Could be another killer, but the question would be "I wonder if there is another killer / I wonder if x is also killing people" and not "WHO is the other killer" because there is no knowledge of another killer at this point in time. "There was a slight possibility with the way the letter was found and how Elena called Jer that something might have been going on with him as well" Yes, and? I did not say that nothing is going on with Jeremy. If he had asked 'Is Jeremy killing people too?' I would not have said yes or no, because that would INDEED be a spoiler. It is fully possible that Jeremy is killing people, but currently there is nothing to show or suggest there IS another killer. He did not ask IF there is another killer, he asked the IDENTITY of the "other" killer. Ergo he was saying that he believed the show had confirmed there was "another" killer out there and he was wondering who it is. Regarding spoilers, I HATE spoilers. Even stuff like "wow that episode is sooo good you're gonna love it" because, depending on what the reactor likes, that could imply things and lowkey 'spoil' things. When I post comments I post comments from the viewpoint of someone who has only see up to the current episode, I do not use any future knowledge. For example I hate the fact that he even knows about the Originals spinoff. As you've seen he has wondered how there's an Originals spinoff when they're so evil, which could imply things regarding how the audience opinions of them may change. People have even repeatedly mentioned WHEN the spinoff is happening (prequel/sequel to the show) ergo if The Originals happens at the same time or after The Vampire Diaries there is 0% chance of the Originals dying (which our main cast is trying to do right now, as they are all linked) which actually spoils a-fucking-lot and I hate that people can't just keep that damn information to themselves.

There was a slight possibility with the way the letter was found and how Elena called Jer that something might have been going on with him as well, let reactors posit things outload without a response sometimes.

It was a letter for jeremy, saying since he has the other ring he needs to continue the work. No Rebekkah and sage werent in on it the whole time. When Sage went into Rebekkah's mind she saw that there is another white oak tree. When Sage showed Damon she got to peek inside his mind as well, seeing that the originals are connected and Damon lied about letting Finn live. Sage then went and presumably told Rebekkah and they burned the bridge together. Jeremy is wearing the ring because.. why wouldn't he??? Sure he shouldn't be in danger of dying a supernatural death, but that doesn't mean he has to take it off. And there's still supernatural shit going on in the world, so what's the bad part about wearing it? You might reference whats happening to alaric but he doesn't know yet. You could argue they should tell him asap, and they probably should "Who's the other one?" The other what..? Killer? There is no other one. Why do you think there's another one? Elena and Stefan talking at alaric's apartment I understand not liking if people are talking about whatever-stuff while something is going on, someone dying etc, but I don't agree in this scenario. Elena and Stefan talk WHILE Elena is searching Alaric's apartment. It's not like she took a 10 minute break to have a heart to heart. Once she found the drawer she spent maybe 5 seconds only talking, and then Stefan opened it.

Ric’s alter ego left that note for Jeremy because he has the other ring and wants to groom him to carry on killing founders. I always assumed Jeremy was still wearing the ring because 1. He should be safe in Denver and 2. The ring won’t affect him unless he dies a bunch of times with the ring on so it’s still better to be safe than sorry and deal with the consequences later, especially if Bonnie has a “cure”. Sage and Damon had a genuine plan, Sage only double crossed him and told Rebekah when she got into Damon’s head and realized he was lying about saving Finn because all the originals are linked. Luckily Damon was one step ahead. I loved how they did Ric’s whole alter ego storyline, I feel like it will make more sense to you as you keep watching 😊
