I know y'all watched Rebels, but did you watch Clone Wars? If not, I highly recommend it. It will give you A LOT of the backstory relevant to this show. And to refresh your memory, there is only ONE Darksaber. The last time we saw it in Rebels, Sabine passed it on to Bo-Katan to lead what was left of the Mandalorian people.
