He's married to Kristen Bell, so when he was leering "You got that good stank" at Eleanor, he was saying it to his own wife. I agree with comments above: by constantly putting yourself on the lookout for a reversal equal to the one at the end of Season 1 (which is really unique in TV history), you're denying yourself the pleasure of enjoying the story as it unfolds.

2020-09-23 12:20:44 +0000 UTCi disagree, his tendency to question everything and not trust Michael is a bit annoying a this point, we are seeing things from Michael's perspective now without any human being present, if he was torturing them we'd know because there would be no reason for Michael to pretend when the humans aren't around. He misses great moments because he can't take anything at face value, always looking for some kind of deception.

Even though the show has tried to 'confirm' Michael as good i am still weary of his motivations. I agree with your first point but that is not exclusive to David. Sometimes, especially with this series, you will get bogged down with story elements instead of seeing all the character work going on in the foreground. That being said, David's reactions are in line from what I expected from a first-time viewer.

2020-09-23 07:35:02 +0000 UTCI'm enjoying your reactions and i'm glad you're loving the show but your constant need to see where the show is going rather than just going along for the ride is hindering your ability to connect to it. The last scene Michael sacrificed himself to save everyone, it was an emotional moment and for some reason you still don't trust him. I agree that there is a great story being told and i just feel like you're missing it by constantly trying to overthink it.
