With regards to the Elliot and jd story this season, without spoiling, I would just say to let it play out. The show may be more in line with your thinking than you give it credit for.

2020-10-25 17:42:44 +0000 UTCSeason 8 of scrubs was supposed to be a spinoff of the show and the network forced them to do it as a continuation. Season 7 had a proper series finale that wraps the show up rather nicely. I love the show and yet have never watched the last season.
