2021-10-19 21:18:50 +0000 UTCI think Forty's behavior this episode might shed some light on why Love was so upset when she was playing tennis with Forty beyond his laziness regarding his work. He was getting close with Joe, and I think Love feared something like this happening between them. Forty is a very sensitive and lonely person, and tends to attach himself to people to combat that loneliness. In his mind, Love is always supposed to be there for him, and everyone else serves as a shield so he can never address his problems with addiction and co-dependency. It's sad, really. This episode cemented Delilah as my favorite character. She got dealt a shitty hand and is clearly overwhelmed by having to take care of a teenaged girl.
