That scene with Avery saving the day with Juliette is definitely one of my favorites of the series.

2021-08-02 06:56:21 +0000 UTCAlso: When you said Juliette brought this whole scandal on by herself, I think you're not seeing one important part: Layla knew that this could kill Juliette's entire career because the media and her fans are scrutinizing her for her private life which is none of their business anyways. So yes, Juliette took that song away from her with Will and that was super wrong. I agree. But Layla could've done something else in return. Juliette stole one opportunity from her, Layla ruined her entire career. That was over-the-top. Especially bc as Jeff said: this also hurts Layla seeing as they're on the same tour and the same label.

She literally said right here that all she wants is to be a person who gets to say "I love you" and really mean it. Which means she never meant it before, but she means it with him. And when she saw Scarlett she just walked away. She never ever tried to "steal" Avery. But you could see it on his face that it touched him deeply when she said that .. So yes, Avery shouldn't cheat on Scarlett ofc but why are you so against their friendship becoming more?
